One of the 1875 Club’s founding members has launched a new fundraising initiative, where every car parked at a BCFC Matchday Parking site will help the Foundation.
Walton Wilkins, a lifelong Blues fan, attended the launch of the 1875 Club last month, and was inspired to get involved with the Club’s independent charity as much as he could.
As well as coming on board as a founding member, Walton decided to donate a percentage from every car parked at Frederick Cooper, Carter Environmental, and Martell Timber directly to the Foundation.
The safe and secure sites are all just a short walk from St. Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park and operate every matchday, giving fans peace of mind when they watch the Blues, whilst supporting the community work of the Foundation at the same time.
The matchday donations will go straight back into the local area, helping to run programmes within schools, from the Community Hub on Emmeline Street, and from many more venues across the city. For more information on matchday parking, click here.
As an 1875 Club member, Walton will soon be joining calls with the senior leadership team, and attending drinks receptions with the directors amongst many other benefits, as part of his exclusive membership. To find out more, click here.
